What is included with building maintenance?

We handle a wide variety of tasks for buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, lighting retrofits and much more! We handle regular and preventative maintenance tasks such as changing HVAC filters and checking smoke detectors, to tasks that come up at different times, such as repairs and upgrades.

What makes you different from a staffing company?

Our maintenance technicians are full-time, W2, BMM employees. We train all our employees in our training center to our standards. We have well-trained supervisors with years of maintenance experience to support our techs out at your property if they run into something they need help fixing. All our maintenance techs only work on building maintenance.

How long have you been in business?

BMM has been in business since 1987.

Where are you located?

Our office address is 1724 Douglas Drive N, Suite 100, Golden Valley, MN 55422.

What areas do you serve?

Most of our customers are within a 25-mile radius around Minneapolis and St. Paul. There are occasions when we will travel farther for clients depending on their needs.

What types of properties does BMM service?

We serve a variety of multi-family communities including apartments, townhouses and condos throughout the Twin Cities area. We also serve other commercial properties.

Do you provide short-term maintenance?

Yes, with our supplemental maintenance services, we can provide a professional maintenance technician for as little as 8 hours.

Do you provide long-term maintenance?

Yes, we can provide a professional maintenance technician for as long as you need them. Whether it is 1 day, 1 week or 1 year, we’ve got your covered.

What is the minimum time you will send a maintenance technician out to a property?

8 hours

Our company doesn’t want to deal with maintenance at all, can you help us?

Yes, we can handle all your maintenance needs, so you have more time to manage your property. We can provide and manage as many techs as your property requires, order supplies, create preventative maintenance programs and so much more. Can BMM assist during staffing shortages?

Yes. We often step in when teams are short-staffed to help maintain consistency and prevent maintenance backlogs.

Do you offer other services besides building maintenance?

Although building maintenance is our main business, we also provide maintenance-related project services as well. For example, apartment renovations, Magic Pak cleaning, preventative maintenance, inspection readiness and much more.

Do you provide parts and materials?

Yes, we can purchase parts and materials for your property. However, there will be a markup on each item. Most of our customers use their own account or credit card.

We’ve used you before and really loved our tech. Can we request them again?

Absolutely! We will do everything we can to make that tech available for your property. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee the same tech every time due to obligations they may have with other properties.

Can you handle both small maintenance tasks and large renovation/capital improvement projects?

Yes, BMM is equipped to handle jobs of any size and scope, from routine maintenance to major renovations or build-out projects.

Do you offer any special services for inspection readiness?

Yes, we help with inspection readiness and prep, especially tailored for multi-family properties, helping you comply with regulatory standards and maintain proper property condition.

Do you offer REAC/NSPIRE inspection readiness?

Yes, we support your team in getting your property ready for a REAC/NSPIRE inspection.

Are your renovation and capital improvement services suitable for commercial properties too?

Absolutely! We work with commercial properties as well, providing buildouts, capital improvements and amenity innovations just like we do for multi-family communities.
